Our upgrade was a room facing Unter den Linden and if you looked out of the window to your left, you saw the Brandenburg Gate. In general there was problems with room service almost every time. Three restaurants, including the Lorenz Adlon Esszimmer and the stylish Japanese-Thai restaurant Sra Bua by Tim Raue, serve the most demanding palates. Yes, pets are typically allowed, but it's always best to call ahead to confirm. Service recovery overall was fine, but it would have been better if no recovery was needed in the first place. Breakfast was table service with a huge breakfast menue. Why a place with 30% occupation rate would give us a construction-view room to begin with is beyond me, but service recovery was quick and good. Every staff member was always friendly and at service. My impression of the hotel overall was positive. Best breakfast we’ve ever had - huge selection with everything you could ever want. We will forward your feedback to our team.

The style is very much brown wood and brown textiles, accented with reds and blue. The hotel itself is gorgeous, the staff is attentive and remembered straight away the occasion I booked the hotel for and congratulated us on our anniversary upon entrance. Breakfast the next morning was great, however not all items available were listed on the menu so it ended up being a bit of a guessing game to what the selection was. Great central location!

Own or manage this property? It's hardly modern, but it works out in a classic building so no problems. We came along with our little cavalier King Charles and she had a wonderful time as well. Besides from these issues, the cleaning in the room was fine. They "fixed it" but it was of course the same afterwards. So far the best hotel choice in Berlin.
