One of those...We were thinking a Gaststatte or something for dinner, but the Mittenwald brewery across the street was closed (rest day on wednesday in July, why not?). So if you can get used to this, like I do by drinking the beer (called Helles, to mean "Clear" I think, as opposed to "Cloudy"), then all is superb...Most restaurants in Mittenwald aren't open very late so when we saw this one open we went in. Food was good, price was fitting and the service was fast, just what we needed.When you see the outside of the building, your first thoughts are that it can't be a very good place to eat.
It may look plain from the outside, but inside is delightful.
