A young woman goes missing from Goderich Ontario, and the police build their case using questionable methods, around a father who claims he's innocent, causing severe damage to his life in town. The film jumps around a lot and the geeky stuff went right over my head, but if you are prepared to ignore what you don't understand, you can get a flavour of what Wikileaks was about and what they were trying to do.However the film does not really hold the attention and I listened to it in the background whilst doing something else. Triggering our age of high-stakes secrecy, explosive news leaks and the trafficking of classified information, WikiLeaks forever changed the game. A Bus ride along the Trans-Canada Highway leads to an unprovoked attack and murder of one of the passengers. I saw parts of this on TV and had to come back and view the beginning. Both women describe their fights against the police to keep their families intact. Perhaps the most disappointing thing about THE FIFTH ESTATE is that by the time the end credits roll, it's main character, Julian Assange, is as much of an enigma as he was when the film started. This is a movie that includes complicated issues. The Ecuadorian authorities have accused the Government of threatening to enter its embassy in London to seize Mr Assange, who faces sexual assault charges in Sweden. Cumberbatch is almost eerily on point as the main protagonist and Daniel Bruehl is a great asset to the cast. Benedict Cumberbatch gives a brilliant performance as Julian Assange. In my opinion, the best moment of the movie was an international paper's news editor-in-chief's realization they (the newspaper business) escalated Assange to the point of unchecked power in which Assange became King and ruled global news. YEs, well, anything with Benedict Cumberbatch in has already got me thinking how wonder the film/play etc., will be and this didn't disappoint. The following morning they announced that the death was due to driver error and reconfirmed that the course itself was perfectly safe. Not what Assange would do as an autobio, but what is worth using to start a conversation.

This program investigates the death of Olympic athlete Nodar Kumaritashvili of Georgia who died in a crash on February 12, 2010 during his final practice run on the Vancouver Olympics luge run in Whistler, B.C. The program examines the lengths to which they had to go to find out what happened to Eric, and the byzantine nature of the legal system which seemed less interested in pursuing justice than in avoiding the expenses involved in the investigation ... "No, it was a complicated thing. The first trailer for The Fifth Estate — aka The WikiLeaks Movie — has been released, and it's a doozy. Toni Collette It's also not an attack on him. Select the topics that interest you: Most people think he is a traitor, but I see him as enlightening the world as to what is going on, telling the truth. Good acting, especially the main character, very believable but over all got bored with it, although it was a massive impact in real life, Wikileaks, somehow the film lacked a spark. But there's very little out there by way of movies that is sufficiently gutsy to put forth the basics of the questions presented by WikiLeaks and its place in the modern world. An enjoyable movie, in which I learned a few things about Wikileaks and Assange of which I was previously unaware. I thoroughly enjoyed it but I like the more quiet plots without any explosions as much as the flashier stuff. Another great performance by Cumberbach in a very thought provoking topic so true of this day and age. All rights reserved. Add your voice! Something just doesn't work in an indefinable way with Cumberbatch at the center.
